A man was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash in Washington County Friday night, police said.The victim has been identified by the Washington County Coroner as 51-year-old Michael K. Fayad of Oakdale.North Strabane Township Police are investigating the crash. The coroner’s report said the crash happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 19 and Demar Boulevard. The report said Fayad was waiting at a stoplight to turn left from State Route 19 onto Demar Boulevard, when another car traveling north at a high speed, crashed into Fayad’s car.The report said the impact of that crash caused Fayad’s car to crash into another nearby vehicle. Fayad was reportedly wearing a seatbelt. Dispatchers told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.Washington Road was shut down in both directions as crews worked to clear the crash scene.Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 is working to learn more about the conditions of the others involved.This is a developing story.
