Loana, the swimming pool, the Loft: Cult trailer

A new Prime Video series that will tell the “Story” behind “Loft Story”.

It is a television and social turning point at the beginning of the century. The era of reality TV opened in France with Loft Story and the series Worshipwhich will debut in a month on Prime Video, will tell the behind-the-scenes story of this extraordinary production, which was going to shake up the entire country.

“Paris, 2001. The World Trade Center towers are still standing and the French are world champions… M6 launches its new show Loft Story. Isabelle, Raphaël, Karim and their teams have less than 4 months to put the show on the air. A crazy bet for these young producers. They are the first on the reality TV field and have to invent everything” describes the official synopsis.

Inspired by true events, Worship will be a fiction series that will feature a counterpart to Alexia Laroche-Joubert (her name is Isabelle in the series) who tries to set up this revolutionary concept, on a major channel, against all odds. From the sale to M6 to the casting, including the famous swimming pool scene, Worship will tell Loft Story from every angle. With the excellent Mary Columbus (seen in Follow) in Loana's shoes.

Anaïde Rozam, César Domboy, Sami Outalbali and Nicolas Briançon complete the cast.

Created and written by ​ Matthieu Rumani and Nicolas Slomka (Family Business), and produced by Louis Farge (Follow), Worship will consist of 6 episodes of 52 minutes.

Released October 18 on Prime Video.
