Lily Allen has revealed she makes more money posting photos of her feet on OnlyFans than she does streaming her music on Spotify.

In June, the 39-year-old singer opened an account on the subscription platform which only featured images of her feet. On Friday, the “Smile” singer revealed that her side hustle is more profitable than the royalties she receives as an artist on the streaming service.

“Imagine being an artist and having almost 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, but making more money by having 1,000 people subscribe to photos of your feet,” Allen wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

Earlier Friday, Allen posted a link to her OnlyFans account and followed up with another post featuring four photos of her feet.

“I haven't posted in a while but you can always check out the archives,” she wrote alongside the foot shots.

“Imagine being one of the biggest pop stars/musicians in Europe and then being reduced to this,” one X user commented.

After firing back at the commenter, Allen responded to another post shared by media company Pop Crave's X account.

The publication shared an article from Billboard in which the outlet reported that Allen earned a substantial income from his Spotify streams.

“Lily Allen makes approximately $4,077 per day from Spotify, according to a new article from Billboard, which equates to $1.4 MILLION per year,” reads the post, which also includes a quote from the website's history. music.

“With $3,239 going toward sound recording to the copyright holder, $336 in mechanical royalties to the publisher, who pays the songwriter, and $503 in performance royalties to the rights organizations of execution,” the Billboard quote reads.

Allen disputed the Billboard report in a comment on Pop Crave X's post.

“This is incredibly misleading, but I'm not smart enough to explain how I earn a tiny percentage of what's quoted here,” the singer wrote. “You’ll just have to trust me: neoliberal capitalism doesn’t care if artists get paid for their work.”

Allen charges $10 per month for subscriptions to his OnlyFans account. She has shared 55 posts and her most recent upload was on September 27.

In a June episode of her “Miss Me” podcast, Allen shared that her manicurist informed her that the singer had a high score on WikifFeet, a website dedicated to rating celebrity feet.

“Yeah, that's true. He thinks it's awesome,” Allen said of the “Stranger Things” star. “At first he wasn't excited, but he was like, 'Is this a problem for you?' And I was like, “No, that's absolutely not a problem,” but maybe there's something about the power element that's slightly weird to me.
