Laure Calamy is a Devoted Friend in the official photos of the Max series

An adaptation of the book La Mythomane du Bataclan, to be seen in October on the platform.

The first French series on the new Max platform will be an event. Laure Calamy will be A Devoted Friend in this original production which reveals its unpublished images showing the false victim of the Bataclan, “Chris”, at the center of the series and embodied by Laure Calamy. We discover her facing Annabelle Lengronne and facing Léon, president of the association “Stand for Paris” played by Arieh Worthalter.

In A Devoted Friend, “On the night of November 13, 2015, Christelle, like the rest of the country, is in shock. The next day, she makes contact online with several victims and when the idea of ​​creating an association between them takes shape, “Chris” becomes the cornerstone. But Christelle lives a lie. The mini-series is inspired by a true story.”

The series is directed by Just Philippot (The Cloud, Acid), and written by Fanny Burdino, Jean-Baptiste Delafon, Samuel Doux and Alexandre Kauffmann, adapted from the book The Bataclan Mythomaniac by Alexander Kauffman.
