An existentialist tale about the place of Man and love in the universe.

After causing a sensation at the last Sundance festival, Love Me is revealed before its theatrical release in a few weeks. The trailer posted online by Bleecker Street promises a great post-apocalyptic romantic film, carried by the couple Kristen Stewart And Steven Yeun. A very ambitious romance, which will seek to explore man's place in the universe, starting from a future where humanity has completely disappeared…

Love Me will first follow the story of an ocean buoy and a satellite who meet online and fall in love on a completely depopulated Earth. Stewart and Yeun will actually be the avatars whose personality the buoy and satellite will take on after finding videos of the couple – who actually once existed – on the Internet.

The detailed synopsis states: “Long after humanity's extinction, a buoy (Kristen Stewart) and a satellite (Steven Yeun) inherit the Earth and, with only the Internet as their guide, learn what it means to be alive and in love.”

For their first feature film, Sam and Andy Zuchero explore artificial intelligence and identity through a very original narrative and visual approach.

Released January 31, 2025 in the United States. No date yet in France.
