Kevin Bacon is going to make a family film, with his wife and his own children!

Along with Kyra Sedgwick and their two children, they will direct and star in a horror comedy called Family Movie.

Kevin Bacon And Kyra Sedgwick were together in the Christmas special Guardians of the Galaxy: Happy Holidays (in 2022). The star couple will work together again for a horror comedy titled Family Movie. And this time, it will be a real family story, since they will film alongside their children, Travis and Lookalike Bacon.

The quartet will produce for Mixed Breed Films alongside Norman Golightly at Dark Castle Entertainment. The film, based on a screenplay by Dan Beers which follows an eclectic but tight-knit family of filmmakers who suddenly find themselves caught up in a real-life horror film when a dead body appears on the set of their latest low-budget scare flick. As the production spirals comically out of control, they realize the only solution to continuing filming is to cover up the murder, by any means necessary.

Star of the series The Closerwhich won him Emmy Awards and Golden Globes, Kyra Sedgwick admits to loving making films. “It's so much better than acting. I am much less vulnerable. And I feel like I know what I'm doing better. I have so much confidence in myself. As an actress, I doubt myself.” She will therefore direct the film alongside her husband Kevin Baconlegendary actor Footloose, Apollo 13 and other X-Men First Class.

Their children are also in the industry. Lookalike Bacon32, recently made her directorial debut with What We Got Wrong and she made appearances in the horror film smile or in the series Mare of Easttown And 13 Reasons Why.

As for Travis Bacon35 years old, he wrote, produced, composed the music and starred in the film Keep Coming Back, recently premiered at Screamfest in Los Angeles.

Their common project, Family Moviedoes not yet have a release date.
