Before perhaps one day reprising the role of Mare Sheehan – which won her an Emmy and a Golden Globe – Kate Winslet will play a surgeon in The Spotwritten by the screenwriter Ed Solomonfor the A24 studio.
“When her husband, a schoolteacher, begins to suspect that she may be responsible for the hit-and-run death of a child, the couple embark on a quest for the truth that takes them into a spiral of growing suspicion, testing their resolve and their relationship..” teases the synopsis.
A thriller of which she will be the producer. Ed Solomon is the author of Full CircleSteven Soderbergh's latest series.
