Even Vice President Kamala Harris laughed at her own word salads during a post-election speech Tuesday.
With many of his supporters still reeling from his defeat in November, Harris urged an audience of young people to “stay in the fight” during a visit to Prince George's Community College in Maryland.
“I ask you to remember that this struggle is not new. It dates back almost 250 years, to Lexington and Concord,” the vice president told the audience. “Generation after generation, it has been fought by those who love our country, cherish its ideals and refuse to stand by while our ideals are attacked. “This fight now continues with you. You are the heirs. »
Harris told his audience, with a knowing smile: “I ask you to remember the context in which you exist.” She paused and nodded. “Yeah, I did. Um,” then laughed.

Social media users were quick to mock the vice president.
“She's in on it now, but that doesn't make it any less of a joke,” noted National Review senior editor Noah Rothman.
Political commentator Collin Rugg shared a video and wrote with apparent sarcasm, “I have to say that was impressive,” sarcastically referring to his comments as “profound comments.”
Juanita Broaddrick replied: “She should be made to sit in a room alone and watch her own videos. She has the intelligence of dirt.”
Rugg added: “This is the woman 75 million Americans wanted to send to negotiate with world leaders like Putin and Xi. Extremely concerning.”
“Your favorite for 2028, everyone!” Fox News contributor Joe Concha joked.
Junk Science's Steve Milloy implored his followers: “If you haven't thanked @realDonaldTrump today for saving us from this, do it.” »
“The context in which I exist is one in which your existence casts a pall over my existence and yet I feel relief from what was or will be,” joked New York Post columnist John Podhoretz. “Que Sera Sera.”
