Josh Brolin will be the villain in Edgar Wright's Running Man

He's going to give Glen Powell a hard time!

After being the Thanos of Avengersgreatest villain in the history of the MCU, Josh Brolin is about to play another type of villain: that of The Running Man.

The American actor revealed in The Goonies and recently crossed in Dune was chosen by the director Edgar Wright to respond to Glen Powellwho will be the hero of the film adapted from Stephen King (published in 1982).

In this remake of the 1987 classic – with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role – we will be introduced to a dystopian America in the near future. A man with no money, Ben Richards, must participate in a deadly reality TV show in order to earn enough to help his daughter recover from an illness. Josh Brolinwho is in final negotiations to sign on, is set to play the man behind the TV show. It is Richard Dawson who played crooked host Damon Killian in the 1987 film.
