The Bear actor joins the cast of The Mandalorian & Grogu!
The current Disney Plus star joins Disney Plus' most iconic saga. The hero crowned at the Emmys for his series The Bear, Jeremy Allen Whitejust signed to join The Mandalorian. The actor revealed in Shameless will be in the casting of the film The Mandalorian & Grogu. He won't really play in it but will voice Jabba the Hutt's son, whose name is Rotta the Hutt!
We therefore understand that the Hutt will hold a certain place in history, as was the case in The Book of Boba Fett (the 2021 series) where the Hutt twins, cousins of Jabba, were preparing to take over Tatooine and the palace of Mos Espa, before being killed by the bounty hunter (Temuera Morrison).
What is certain is that Jabba's death in Return of the Jedi (a few years ago) left a void at the top of Tatooine's organized crime. Jabba's son will certainly claim the throne in his turn. So Boba Fett and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) could also make an appearance in the film.
Until then, Jeremy Allen White will finish filming the Bruce Springsteen biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere.
The release of the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogudirected by Jon Favreau, is set for May 20, 2026.
