Jenna Ortega Wants to Rework Winona Ryder. On Wednesday Season 2?

Beetlejuice stars Beetlejuice talk “all the time” about their reunion since their mother-daughter experience with Tim Burton.

If the continuation of Beetlejuice was long under consideration, Tim Burton explained that it was largely thanks to the series Wednesday that he wanted to immerse himself in the crazy world of the bio-exorcist. The Netflix series, which was a great success in the fall of 2022, and which made the young actress Jenna Ortega a global star, pushed the director to find the heroine of Beetlejuicewith whom he identified so much during his adolescence, Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder). Except this time, it's his daughter, Astrid, played by Jenna, who is truly at the heart of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

The two actresses clearly got along wonderfully on set, to the point that Ortega revealed to Total Film that she would love to quickly find her “Mom” of cinema on a new filming set. And why not on that of Mercredi, since Season 2 is currently filming ?

“Dude, that would be so cool!”, she gets carried away. But this woman is so busy. She doesn't have time, even to get us together for this junket, it was complicated! Well, I don't know if it will be possible (For Wednesday)but yeah, I would love to work with Winona again. If not on this show, then on another project. We talk about it all the time, it would be really cool for me to have her back.”
