The new French version of the rider who appeared out of the night.
Last September, the Paramount + platform broadcast the new series in France Zoro worn by Jean Dujardin (also visible via MyCanal thanks to the agreement between the Canal + platform and its American counterpart). An ambitious reinvention of the myth, by Benjamin Charbit And Noé Debréwhich make the Californian rider a zany and offbeat comedy character, in the guise of Jean Dujardinin the vein of a OSS 117.
This series Zoro is a co-production between Paramount and France TV. And if the streamer had the scoop on the broadcast, it now arrives in clear, for everyone, on the public service. It will be available to watch from Monday December 16 in full on france.tv and from Monday December 23 in prime time on France 2. It has 8 episodes of 40 minutes.
France Télévisions is delighted in a press release: “Jean Dujardin is Zorro. This simple sentence immediately aroused a desire in us, and the promise of a pleasure which, we hope, will leave an impression on the audience throughout the series. To do this, the authors were not content with an adaptation of the world-famous novel. No. They found a strong idea which propels the series into a new terrain of adventure and comedy fertile in intrigues and twists and turns: a love triangle… but for two; Gabriella, married to Diego, falls in love with Zorro. This crazy idea beautifully brings our childhood hero back to life, while giving the actors the pleasure of interpreting these finely written scores..” And the channel concludes:
“This is our spectacular end-of-year gift to our beloved viewers.”
