They were one of the star television couples of the 1990s. Almost 30 years after the end of Doctor Quinn, female doctorformer playmates Jane Seymour And Joe Lando are still so close. And while the 63-year-old actor lost everything in the fires that have ravaged the surroundings of Los Angeles for a week, he and his family were able to take refuge with Seymour.

With tears in his eyes and his throat tight by the violence of the moment, Lando expresses all his gratitude towards his former co-star: “Fortunately, there are angels in this world. We have nothing left except each other. My friend Jane Seymour allowed us to come and stay with her. She opened her door to us without any hesitation and, thank God, she gave us a place to sleep“.


Joe Lando and his family had lived in their Pacific Palisades home for 22 years when it was destroyed by the blaze. Fortunately, they were evacuated in time and were able to go to live with Seymour in Malibu.

Recall that both played Michaela Quinn and Byron Sully in Doctor Quinn, female doctorfor six seasons.

In 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, the cast had already met on Zoom for major reunion memories.
