The adventure has just begun on Disney Plus. And director Jon Watts assures us: it's for the whole family!
The dark side at least. The new series Skeleton Crew adopts a very assertive Amblin tone, to tell a story of Star Wars at the level of children. As a result, the appearance dark of a Acolyte or a Andor is almost completely set aside, to promote adventure, fun, camaraderie, in the vein of Goonies. There are certainly bad guys in Skeleton Crewbut they are never truly terrifying.
Moreover, one of the actresses in the band, Kyriana Kratter (KB) assures us the whole family can watch : “I'm sure it's a series for the whole family. There are jokes in the series that only adults will understand. And children my age, probably the youngest ones too, will get caught up in it. adventure with happiness and in all the completely crazy things we get into with the gang“, laughs the 14-year-old actress.
And the director and creator Jon Watts is of the same opinion: “It's a series that works very well for children.” he explains to Première before detailing:
“There's no need to know anything about the Star Wars universe. You can take part in the adventure like that, just for fun. And then if you're a fan, then you'll find lots of little elements , winks that will amuse you In fact, I think it's a series that is made to pass on your passion for Star Wars to your children!
