In 2024, the French box office is full of admissions: the final results

Despite everything, the sector is still suffering compared to figures before COVID and before the streaming explosion. In France, attendance is still 13% lower compared to 2019. But the local industry still has reason to be positive after a year 2024 in which French cinema took the lion's share: more than 80 million admissions and 44.4% market share, the best level recorded in 15 years (45.5% in 2008, year of Welcome to the Ch'tis).
