“Thank you, Homelander, for showing everyone that you are a true man of the people!”
Homelander and Donald Trump same fight? The Prime Video series likes to draw parallels between the Republican candidate and Vought's superhero, two populist figures if ever there was one. So when the former President of the United States on campaign appears in a McDonald's, the production of The Boys can't help but make fun by posting a very satirical little photo.
In recent days, Trump did a PR stunt at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania, serving drive-thru fries.

The Vought International account that surfs the world of The Boys responded with this scathing message, showing Homelander serving food at a “Vought A Burger.” A promo that teases the upcoming season 5 (where Homelander should be a candidate for the White House) and which puts a nice little tackle on Donald Trump in passing:
“Growing up, Homelander dreamed of working at his local Vought A Burger. Recently, his wish came true, as Vought closed a restaurant and staged pre-screened customers, so Homelander could “serve” “food » to the “people”. Thank you, Homelander, for showing everyone that you are a true man of the people!” mocks the account of The Boys.

It must be remembered thatEric Kripke, the creator of the series, is a convinced Democrat. He recently confided to Première that The Boys “clearly states this message: if a powerful man stands before you and announces that he is going to save the world, he is lying to you! He is manipulating you! I wish people were a little more aware of the fact that they are constantly manipulated by social networks, by algorithms, by super-machos who pretend to be heroes above the fray.“Without any further illusion, since he immediately admitted: “I know I'm just an artist, a liberal acrobat. But if just one person looks at their leaders more critically after this, that would already be a victory!”
