What was Shaun's TED talk like? Fiona Gubelmann (Dr. Reznick) and Will Yun Lee (Dr. Park) tell us.
And there you have it. After six years of good and loyal service, the Saint Bonaventure Hospital in San José is closing its doors. At least on the small screen. The series Good Doctor ended this Wednesday evening on TF1, with two final episodes rich in emotion. Warning spoilers!
The grand finale ended with a great TED talk from Shaun (Freddie Highmore). The young surgeon looked back on his journey, his personal development, his loved ones, during a touching speech. A memorable day for the entire cast:
“It’s not the last sequence we shot actually”precise input Fiona Gubelmann (Dr Reznick), whom Première was able to meet at the Monte-Carlo television festival this summer. She remembers immediately: “It washad a really relaxed day for us, because we had nothing to do. No pressure! We just had to listen to Freddie talking. We were sitting in the stands, with a few elders. But also with members of the technical team and producers who had taken place in this audience of Shaun's TED conference. It was a bit of a nod, in a way, to the end of the series.”
For Alex and Morgan, the big moment happened an episode earlier. The wedding episode. “It's very nice that they got married. But it actually makes me laugh, because they've broken up so many times before. I even used to say that they made up in the elevator and split up as soon as they got to the locker room.” smiles Will Yun Lee (Dr. Park). Her playmate has“loved the dresse” that she wore in this episode. “It's the most beautiful dress in the world. I would have liked to have been able to keep her… but it wasn't possible…”
Finally, what will become of Morgan and Alex after this? Is there life after Good Doctor ? “I can see the “Parnick” spin-off, which would bring Reznick and Park together!” confesses to us Fiona Gubelmann. “They opened their own private clinic. They are very rich. And why not in France… Especially since I speak a little French, so it wouldn't be a problem for me“, concludes the actress in the language of Molière.
