Gladiator 2: All the epic photos before the trailer

It's almost time to return to the arena! Gladiator 2 will be one of the events of the end of the year, on November 13th at the cinema. And tomorrow, Tuesday July 9th (at 3pm), we will discover the first official trailer, which should be spectacular.

Paramount has already released the official photos of the film today. For example, we can see Ridley Scott back in the Roman Empire, alongside Paul Mescalwho will play Lucius, the nephew of Emperor Commodus (Joaquin Phoneix) and son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen). He will notably face Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, The Last of Us) who will play Acacius, a fallen Roman general.

The other images (below) show the gladiators in action as well as the rulers of Rome. Fred Hechinger will be the bloody Caracalla, while Joseph Quinn (the revelation of Stranger Things 4) will be his brother the co-Emperor Geta. As for Denzel Washingtonhe will play Macrinus, the first emperor not to come from the senatorial order, but also the first emperor from Mauretania Caesarea.
