Friday the 13th series returns from the dead thanks to A24

The indie studio is taking over the prequel titled Crystal Lake.

Never really in the grave… Jason Voorhees has seen others and will return from the dead once again with the franchise Friday the 13th. Announced in 2022, the prequel series Crystal Lakewhich is supposed to go back to the origins of the saga, is struggling to come to fruition. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to a chapter of this iconic franchise, especially with such intrepid partners as A24.” the screenwriter commented in a statement.
