Formula 1 offers its first series, on Prime Video

Actress Felicity Jones will lead a team in this new drama which will tell the behind-the-scenes story of the circuits.

Hollywood is looking with more and more interest in the Formula 1 ! While the discipline has had great difficulty establishing itself in America in recent decades (where other automobile competitions such as Nascar reign supreme), it is slowly beginning to penetrate the market. The promoters of the Formula 1 now organize two Grands Prix (in Las Vegas and Austin) each season and Uncle Sam's public seems to have a passion for the struggles between Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes.

In the process, the Formula 1 is now becoming an object of adaptation with exciting potential for studios. Brad Pitt will sit in a seat for Apple in the next film F1by Joseph Kosinski.

And we learned today that Prime Video also wants to test the asphalt. Amazon's streaming platform will develop a series titled Onetaking place in the world of Formula 1.

It will be carried by Felicity JonesEnglish star of Rogue One: A Star Wars Storynominated for an Oscar for A wonderful story of time. She will star and produce the project with Amazon MGM Studios.

One will be, like F1officially validated by the organization of the Formula 1. The story will focus on a bankrupt family racing team, led by character Felicity Jones, as they face fierce personalities, ever-changing rivals and multi-million dollar stakes. Less a series of fast-paced action than a sort of Yellowstone or Succession in the merciless world of Formula 1.

Mark Fergus And Hawk Ostby – who were nominated for an Oscar for The Sons of Man – will write and produce the series.
