A fire at a Fayette County bar left several people displaced Sunday evening.Crews were called to Pickers Pub & Grub on High Street in Brownsville. Officials are still working to determine a cause, but at least 12 people were impacted.The building had the restaurant on the first floor with apartments on the second and third floors.Fire officials added that everyone inside made it out safely, and it’s unclear where the fire started.The chief of South Brownsville Fire Department said they were returning from another fire just before this one broke out. Fourteen other departments responded to help put the fire out.”They were already pretty much whooped from that one. It didn’t slow them down. They did what they needed to do and they took a beating but they did a phenomenal job,” Chief Ron Berry said. Berry said one firefighter did suffer an ankle injury and was taken to the hospital. The fire is under investigation.A GoFundMe has been set up to help people who were living in the building and have been displaced by the fire.
