A new animated film where the monsters will come from a mysterious underwater kingdom like Aquaman…
While waiting to see Liam Hemsworth's first steps in season 4 of The Witcher (this year?) on Netflix, we will find Geralt of Rivia in a new animated adventure, entitled The Witcher: Sirens of the Abyss.
Almost four years after the release of Wolf Nightmare – a prequel around Vésemir – this second animated film on the Witcher is located in the timeline of the live action series. Geralt of Rivia will have to fight against sea creatures to help a coastal village, alongside Jaskier, and while he tries to forget Yennefer of Vengerberg.
Doug Cockle will double the Witcher in this version, while the live action actors, Joey Batey And Anya Chalotrawill be back in the voice casting.
“Recruited to investigate a series of attacks on a coastal village, mutant monster hunter Geralt of Rivia finds himself embroiled in a centuries-old conflict between humans and the people of the sea. He will have to rely on his friends , old and new, to solve the mystery before hostilities between the two kingdoms lead to all-out war.” details the synopsis.
Directed by Kang Hei Chul from a screenplay written by Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin The Witcher: Sirens of the Abyss will be released on February 11 on Netflix.
