Ellen Pompeo will still be very present in season 21 of Grey's Anatomy

She should appear again in about ten episodes, a year after… her farewells.

She'll certainly never be done with Meredith Grey. After saying goodbye to the Seattle staff in episode 7 of season 19, the title surgeon will still be very present in the upcoming season 21 of the medical show.

Ellen Pompeo will appear in at least 7 of the 18 episodes of this new season of Grey's Anatomyannounces Deadline, which points out that it will certainly be more! The original star – who remains the first name in the credits and the voice-over of the series – will therefore retain a regular place in the cast, contrary to what her big departure suggested. She will have a place equivalent to that of Bailey or Webber in season 21, since the historical ones still in scrubs will see their presence on screen diminish next year, to save money.
