Firefighters have responded to a multi-house fire in Donora Wednesday afternoon.Washington County dispatchers said three houses were on fire in the 100 block of Thompson Avenue. They said the call came in for the fire at 3:54 p.m.Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news helicopter, flew over the scene and saw smoke billowing out from the houses. Multiple fire departments were on the scene, working to put the fire out.A woman inside one of the houses on fire told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 reporter Ava Rash that four people inside that house, including herself, were able to escape. Two animals, however, were killed.She said the fire started at the front of the house.
