Donald Trump, former President of the United States, has launched a new NFT collection titled “Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Card” on the Bitcoin blockchain.

This NFT is powered by the Ordinals protocol and will be available for purchase until January 31, 2025.

According to CryptoSlateusers who purchase 100 NFT cards from the “Mugshot Edition” collection and link their Bitcoin wallet can mint their NFTs via Magical Eden market. To date, users have printed 19 of the 119 available Ordinals, with a printing period until the end of January.

The Ordinals protocol allows the creation of unique digital assets on the Bitcoin blockchain by committing data to satoshis—the smallest unit of Bitcoin. Trump trading cards are made using “Alpha sitting,” The first satoshi of a Bitcoin block.

So far, six Trump-inspired Ordinals have been listed on Magic Eden. The current base price for this NFT is 0.25 BTC, while the most expensive token in the collection is priced at 9.8 BTC.

This marks the first time Trump has released an NFT collection on the Bitcoin network. However, he is no stranger to the NFT market having launched several collections in the past. These offers often come with exclusive perks for the holder, such as Trump-themed gold sneakers or a private dinner with the former president.

The launch highlights the growing intersection between politics, digital art and blockchain technology, further strengthening Bitcoin's role in the expanding NFT ecosystem.
