I HOPE YOU CAN HEAR ME, BECAUSE IT IS LOUD IN HERE AS SPEAKERS COME THROUGH, THEY SHARE THEIR MESSAGE, AND THEN THEY BLAST THE MUSIC TO GET THE CROWD PUMPED UP BEFORE THE FORMER PRESIDENT TAKES THE STAGE. HE WAS OUT AND ABOUT IN SMITHTON MEETING WITH PEOPLE LOCAL PENNSYLVANIANS, ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF FARMING AND ABOUT KEEPING FARMING HERE. AND INVESTING IN IT. WE ALSO HEARD FROM VOTERS TODAY AND THOSE LONG LINES OF PEOPLE WAITING TO GET IN. ONE VOTER WHO WAS VOTING FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR TALKED TO US ABOUT THE ISSUES MOST IMPORTANT TO HIM. TAKE A LISTEN. IT’S HARD FOR ME TO EVEN AFFORD AN APARTMENT RIGHT NOW SO PEOPLE CAN’T AFFORD HOUSES. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO PROGRESS IN SOCIETY RIGHT NOW IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD THE BASICS? THE SAMPLES, THE FOOD, YOU KNOW, FOOD, GROCERIES, THAT SORT OF STUFF. NO ONE CAN AFFORD IT. AND EVERYTHING’S THE INFLATION
