Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill appeared to be arrested by police Sunday morning, just hours before the team was set to host the Jacksonville Jaguars to begin the season.
Videos on social media show Hill handcuffed with several police officers surrounding him. Other photos show Hill on the sidewalk with the stadium in the background. Hill was seen wearing gray sweatpants and a white tank top.

Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN that the NFL star was pulled over by police for an alleged traffic violation.
“I just left Tyreek and he's getting ready to play today,” Rosenhaus said.
The Dolphins and Rosenhaus did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
Miami later released a statement.

“This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was stopped for a traffic incident approximately one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police,” the team said on X. “He has since been released. Several teammates witnessed the incident and stopped to offer their support.
“Tyreek and all other players involved have arrived safely at the stadium and will be available for today's game.”
The five-time All-Pro hopes to continue his fantastic 2023 season. He garnered MVP attention for most of last season. He finished the year with 119 receptions for 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. He led the league in receiving yards and touchdowns.
Hill will be in his third season with the Dolphins, but Miami is still searching for that elusive playoff victory.
