Dexter is back (again): in addition to the prequel, Michael C. Hall will do his “Resurrection”

The series Dexter: Resurrection will be the sequel to Dexter: New Blood. Are you following?

Michael C. Hall isn't done with the character of Dexter, the friendly serial killer who only kills bad guys. Much to the surprise of fans, who gathered at San Diego Comic-Con for a panel on the prequel series Dexter: Original Sinthe actor arrived on stage and Paramount co-CEO Chris McCarthy announced Dexter: Resurrectionwhich is scheduled to air in summer 2025. The story will take place in the present, and will follow Dexter: New Blood (2021), which picked up ten years after the original series finale. Dexter is one of Showtime's most popular series.

Additionally, Michael C. Hall will also be doing the voiceover for Dexter: Original Sinwhich will take place in 1991, fifteen years before the events of Dexter. It will see the character's transition from student to vengeful serial killer. Ten episodes are planned and the cast will include Christian Slater, Patrick Gibson (the lead role), Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patrick Dempsey and Molly Brown.
