Blood and Ashes: the saga will be adapted into a series

A new fantasy story launched in 2021 in bookstores.

After Mortal Instruments Or Shadow & Bonea new YA literary fantasy saga will be adapted for streaming.

The fantasy novel series Blood and Ash (From Blood and Ash) written by Jennifer L. Armentrouthas just been purchased by Sony Pictures Television. For the moment, no platform is yet attached to the project, which has only just been launched.

The books follow Poppy, who has been “chosen from birth to inaugurate a new era” and whose “life was never hers“, we can read in the official synopsis. “The girl's life is lonely. You must never touch her. We must never look at it. You should never talk to him or feel pleasure. While waiting for her Ascension Day, she prefers to be with the guards, fighting the evil that has taken her family, rather than prepare to be deemed worthy by the gods. Launched in 2021, this literary saga already has 5 volumes and the sixth volume, The Primal of Blood and Bonewill be released in 2025.
