A decade after announcing his retirement, Steven Soderbergh continues to run at lightning speed: in January, the horror film will be released Presencewith Lucy Liu, then from March, time for the spy thriller Black Bag (“translated” In France The Insider), of which we discover this week the trailer carried by Cate Blanchett (Tar, Disclaimer) And Michael Fassbender (The Killerby David Fincher). Its concept is somewhat reminiscent of that of Mr. And Mrs. Smithwith its spy couple having to choose between their marriage and their dangerous mission. Or, as its distributor Universal summarizes in the official synopsis: “It's a gripping spy drama about legendary intelligence agents George Woodhouse and his beloved wife Kathryn. When she is suspected of betraying the nation, George faces the ultimate test: loyalty to his marriage or his country.”
The Insider will be released on March 12, 2025 in France.
