The most attentive fans may be able to unmask some hidden Easter eggs.
The live-action adaptation of the famous Japanese manga was a big surprise last year, becoming one of the most-watched productions in 2023 on Netflix. So it's impossible to escape a season two for One Piece and its cult character, Monkey D. Luffy, a perched pirate, played by the Mexican actor Inaki Godoy. Filming began a few months ago, and the entire team – Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp) and Taz Skylar (Sanji) – celebrated his reunion in style.
On the program for this upcoming season 2, there are still plenty of surprises to discover, but already, the cast looks set to be quite complete and it is not the least. The agents of Baroque Works (M.3 M.5 and M.9 and Miss Valentine) will make their entrance on stage, as well as new pirates, Crocus, Dorry and Brogy.

While its release date has not yet been revealed, Netflix revealed a few days ago something to keep fans waiting – a behind-the-scenes tour of the filming, provided by Jeff Ward (Marvel: Agents of Shield), the interpreter of Baggy the clown.
Across the set and the different departments, the actor gives us a tour of the owner. Fans can discover the men and women behind the costumes, accessories, sets (the Twins' Cape, the Kingdom of Drum), and the makeup of the characters, and hope to briefly catch a glimpse of a few easter eggs from season 2. But for that, you'll have to have a sharp eye, because most of them are already blurred to avoid any spoilers. Can you spot them?
Although the detailed plot of season 2 of One Piece remains a mystery, it could be that it adapts chapters 96 to 100 first – which is to say talking about the Loguetown arc. The first season adapted chapters 1 to 95. The Straw Hat team takes their first adventure to The Road of All Perils – a name that does not bode well for them…
