Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman, who co-starred in the DC movie “Batman & Robin” (1997), have reunited 27 years after the film's release. Schwarzenegger posted a fun photo of the two of them on Instagram.
The two co-starred as Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy, opposite George Clooney's Batman. Schwarzenegger is 77 years old, and Uma Thurman is 54. The two mature women reunited in a relaxed manner and appeared on camera together.
“Freeze and Ivy are reunited. Watch out, Batman.” When Schwarzenegger posted the photo, Thurman responded with a comment, “We are the Dynamic Duo! Watch out…” and Thurman herself posted, “Freeze and Ivy are together again. Super tight and super cool in this warming world!” She was happy to see them reunite after such a long time.
The film “Batman & Robin,” in which the pair starred, is infamous among fans, having been nominated for the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Picture. George Clooney's Batman suit was the subject of ridicule, with people calling it a “nipple suit,” and Clooney even uses it as a self-deprecating joke.
At the time, the series was canceled, and Batman's return was not until 2005's “Batman Begins,” directed by Christopher Nolan. Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger and Thurman have been steadily building their careers. Schwarzenegger served as the governor of California in the 2000s, and Thurman had a huge hit with the “Kill Bill” series. Most recently, he co-starred with Charlize Theron in “The Old Guard 2,” which is expected to be released soon.
