The movie “Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom'', which was released in theaters in January 2024 (December 2023 in the United States), will be available for unlimited viewing on Netflix from October 3, 2024.
A sequel to the hit series depicting the exploits of DC Comics' popular hero Aquaman, who controls sea creatures. Although it was the final film in the DC Universe centered around the heroes of the Justice League, it brought a refreshing conclusion to the universe as a work that could be enjoyed on its own without requiring knowledge of other works in the series.
In this film, Aquaman forms an alliance with Orm (Patrick Wilson), the former king of Atlantis and his younger brother, who was imprisoned for trying to destroy humanity in the previous film. Aquaman and Orm are archenemies and have contradictory personalities. The two set out on an adventure to protect the kingdom, but learn that there is actually a lost seventh kingdom in the undersea empire. The existence of the legendary evil power and the Black Trident is also revealed. An evil thing that sank deep into the ocean has been revived since ancient times, and is destroying not only the ocean floor but also the human world on land, and is trying to take over everything.
In addition to the ability to control sea creatures, Aquaman also has the extraordinary ability to swim at 160 km/h and have strength 150 times that of a human. In an unprecedented battle with evil monsters and the deadliest giant monsters, he holds up the golden trident, the “legendary weapon” that rules the seas, saying, “Even if it seems hopeless, I will open up the future.” In addition, there will be a powerful scene where the Sea Dragon jumps high into the sky from the sea, and an action scene using an underwater battleship that looks like a spaceship.
“Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom” will be released on Netflix on October 3, 2024.
