Julia Garner runs into the devil in a New York building controlled by Satanists.
After The Curse: The Originhere is Rosemary's Baby: The Origin… Uh, rather Rosemary's Babythree years before. In Apartment 7Awe are in New York, in 1965, and the young dancer Terry (Julia Garner, one of the heroines ofOzark and soon in the Wolfman by Bumhouse) is trying to recover from a foot injury in a certain apartment in a certain building: the Dakota, where the charming neighbors, the Castevets, are a bit intrusive. If you've seen Roman Polanski's classic, or if you've just heard of them, you know that they are actually militant Satanists and that it's all going to end in a black mass between the co-owners. Terry appears in Polanski's film, as an ex-junkie subjected to the good care of the Castevets… So here is the trailer for theorigins story of this character, very classic but not recommended for those with a phobia of fractures.
Apartment 7A arrives September 27 on Paramount Plus. The film is co-produced by John Krasinski and Michael Bay (via his studio Platinum Dunes) and directed by Natalie Erika James, whose horror film Relicreleased in October 2020, was well received by critics. By the way, who remembers What happened to Rosemary's baby?a 1976 TV movie that imagined (without anyone from Polanski's cult film) the childhood of Rosemary's son Adrian? And who watched the Rosemary's Baby from 2014 with Zoe Saldana, a two-part remake set in Paris? Feel free to write to us.
