The series inspired by Goscinny and Uderzo's album will be broadcast on Netflix in 2025.
“ We are in 50 BC… » After having made the event last June during the Annecy international animated film festival, Asterix and Obelix: The Battle of the Bosses finally reveals its highly anticipated trailer to the general public. A series which marks the return of Alain Chabat to the universe of the Gaul, and will be visible on Netflix in 2025. The ex-Nuls is accompanied in the adventure by Benoît Oullion (co-writer) and Fabrice Joubert (co- director), as well as the animators from the Toulouse studio TAT.
The series will take up the plot of the cult album by Goscinny and Uderzo: “ The last independent village of Gaul, the home of Asterix and Obelix, owes its superiority against the Romans to a magic potion, but when the Druid who made their potion loses his memory, the villagers are left to their own devices in the face of the power of Rome. »
In the vocal cast, we will find Anaïs Demoustier, David Marsais, Grégoire Ludig, Fred Testot, Gilles Lellouche (who reprises the role of Obélix after his live performance in Guillaume Canet's film), Alain Chabat (Asterix), Jean-Pascal Zadi, Alexander Astier (Ordralfabetix), Laurent Lafitte (César), Géraldine Nakache (Bonemine), Grégory Gadebois, Thierry Lhermitte (Panoramix) and Jeanne Balibar. During the presentation of the series in Annecy, Alain Chabat also promised surprises.
