The grand premiere of A Perfect Couple was disrupted last night by a battalion of midges, determined to tease the stars of the Netflix series.

Last night, the Netflix mini-series A Perfect Couple – online on the platform today – premiering in Los Angeles. When a swarm of flying insects invaded the red carpet set up in front of the Egyptian Theatre Hollywood, reports Variety, which was on the scene.

According to the American title, the heat and humidity reigning in California these days largely contributed to the phenomenon and the bright lights of the event attracted the insects in droves, sticking to Nicole Kidman Or Meghann Fahyas in this video (above).
