He wants to relaunch The Thomas Crown Affair. The actor of Creed, Michael B. Jordanwill direct and star in a remake of the cult thriller, released in 1968. A heist film with Steve McQueen facing Faye Dunaway and directed by Norman Jewisonwhich won the Oscar for Best Song. A classic already remade 30 years later in 1999 by John McTiernan. This modern version featured Pierce Brosnan face Rene Russoreplaying the story of a millionaire playboy who steals a priceless work of art and then begins a fiery romance with the insurance investigator who quickly figures out the scheme…

And so again 30 years later (or almost) Michael B. Jordan will carry a third version of The Thomas Crown Affair for Amazon MGM Studios. He will star in the film and it is not yet known who will reprise the role of the investigator. “The next priority is to find a co-star who will turn up the heat on screen. Given what the previous roles have done for their respective female leads, the role is sure to attract the attention of many Hollywood stars.” believes Deadline.
