Join Telegram ChannelHe was one of the very first villains in the Marvel Universe! American actor Faran Tahir will return to the great saga, on the occasion of the future MCU series from Disney Plus, Vision.
He will reprise his role as Raza, the terrorist he played in the film Iron Man of 2008. Remember: Raza was the leader of the group known as Ten Rings who kidnapped Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) on behalf of Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges) the number 2 of Stark Industries, determined to remove the boss's son to take control of the arms company. Raza had locked Tony up for months in a cave in the depths of Afghanistan. This is where the genius made his very first armor.
A priori, Raza had been betrayed and killed by Obadia in the last act of IRon Man. But he may have survived. Or maybe just Vision will have a vision of the past or another reality…
In any case, in the series entitled Vision Quest – spin-off of WandaVision – Faran Tahir will be in the casting alongside Paul Bettany but also another historical villain of the Marvel Universe, namely James Spaderwho will return to make Ultron, the big bad of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
So why will these two former iconic MCU villains be back in Vision Quest ? Filming is due to begin in March in Britain. Expected broadcast in 2026 on Disney Plus.
