Dexter: Origins will focus on the student years of the famous serial killer.
When there's more, there's more. Three years after the end of the revival, Dexter: New Bloodthe favorite serial killer of TV series fans is getting a new show. Dexter: Origins goes back in time, to Miami in the 1990s, to tell us about the murderous shift of Dexter Morgan, played by the Irish actor Patrick Gibson (The O.A.).
A beautiful cast was put in place to surround him, with Christian SlaterMolly Brown, James Martinez, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, and guest stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Dempsey. Even Michael C. Hall will return to interpret the voice of the inner monologue of young Dexter, who will learn to tame his bloodthirsty impulses with the help of his father, Harry (played by Christian Slater).

As for Dexter: New BloodClyde Phillips, the showrunner of the first four seasons of the original series, is at the helm of this ten-episode prequel, still produced by Showtime and broadcast in France on Canal Plus. It will be followed in two episodes every Thursday, from February 6, also on MyCanal.
The Dexter vein has not finished being exploited since Dexter: Resurrectionanother series centered on his son, Harrison, is also in the works. It will soon begin filming with the return of two former cast members : David Zayas (Angel Batista) and James Remar (Harry).
