Snow has been falling in many locations for the last few hours. Three inches of snow has already been reported in parts of Beaver County with the snow continuing to fall. IMPACT NIGHT: SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUESnow showers will continue to fall through the night as our system passes by to our south. There have been some impressive snow totals in areas where the snow has come down heavier or for a long period, mainly north of the city, and snow will last until we get closer to sunrise Saturday. An Impact Day is out for most of the night with a general accumulation of 1-3″ before snow showers taper to flurries by tomorrow morning. A band of higher amounts, 3-6″, are possible in both the Laurel Highlands and north of the city where it has been snowing for most of Friday evening in Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Armstrong, and Clarion Counties.A Winter Weather Advisory is in place through 1 am, Sunday for all Western PA, northern WV, and Garrett County, Maryland.
