David Zayas and James Remar will return to play Angel Batista and Harry.
While Dexter's past will be explored soon in Dexter: Original Sin (on Canal + in the coming weeks), the saga will then continue with a new sequel entitled Dexter: Resurrection. This will be the continuity of Dexter: New Blood (2021) and we will find some faces well known to fans of the saga.
Around Michael C. Hall will return in particular David Zayas And James Remar two iconic figures from the first seasons of Dexter. Zayas plays from the start Angel Batista, Dex's friend, a simple investigator who became a Sergeant then Captain of the Miami police homicide squad (as we saw in New Blood). He now knows that his former colleague was the Butcher of Bay Harbor. Remar will return to play Harry Morgan, the adoptive father who trained the killer around his famous “code”.
Moreover, Dexter: Resurrection will also bring back Jack Alcott as Dexter's son, Harrison Morgan. He was already in New Blood and will inevitably be at the center of the sequel, still written by Clyde Phillips returning as showrunner.
Broadcast by Paramount+, Dexter: Resurrection will begin filming this month. Release expected in the summer.
