David Corenswet puts himself in the tights of the DC superhero, not without paying homage to Christopher Reeve.
It's a bird… It's a plane… It's David Corenswet in Superman ! Warner Bros. lifts the veil on its next adaptation of the DC superhero by James Gunn. A first poster has just been posted online representing the Man of Steel as he takes flight. “Raise your head“, asserts the poster which thus pays homage to the emblematic version of Superman played by Christopher Reeve.
Moreover, we can hear a slowed down interpretation of the famous “Superman” theme by composer John Williams, taken from the 1978 film. A calmer and more composed reinvention, where the brass is exchanged for strings, and a woman's voice hums the iconic melody.
