Tom Hardy at Guy Ritchie: first photos on the set

The series will also bring together Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.

Almost twenty years later RocknRolla (2008), Tom Hardy find the director Guy Ritchie (The Gentlemen). This time, for a television series, filming of which has just started in London. The first set photos have already leaked.

Known as The Associate (working title), she will put Tom Hardy facing two British legends: Pierce Brosnan And Helen Mirren.

Paramount+ has ordered 10 episodes and describes it as a “electrifying detective series centered on two warring London families, whose businesses extend to the four corners of the world. We will follow a killer, a fiercely loyal “fixer” named Harry Da Souza, charged with protecting the Harrigan family.”

Brosnan will play Conrad Harrigan, the head of this crime family that Harry works for, while Mirren will play the role of Maeve Harrigan, Conrad's wife and the matriarch of the Harrigan family.

Note that initially, it was to be a spin-off of Ray Donovan. But ultimately, Paramount preferred to detach the story to make it an independent crime drama.
