A 69-year-old woman was struck and killed by a train in South Heights, Beaver County, on Sunday night.The Beaver County coroner told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 on Monday night that Diane D’Amico died of blunt force trauma to the head, trunk and extremities following the incident near Woodlawn Road.Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 reached out to CSX, which released a statement on Sunday reading: “At approximately 6:38 pm this evening, a northbound CSX train came into contact with an individual trespassing on the tracks just north of North St. and Woodlawn Rd. in South Heights, PA. Unfortunately the individual involved in the incident was fatally injured. CSX appreciates the swift response of Beaver County Emergency Services.”
