The director of Divines is changing the genre of The Three Musketeers.

After the success of Three musketeers by Martin Bourboulon and Count of Monte Cristo with Pierre Niney (nearly 16 million admissions in three films), room for women. All for One is Houda Benyamina's second feature film, which will be released on January 22, almost nine years after Divines presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, she had filmed two episodes of the Netflix series The Eddy with Tahar Rahim. There, a change of era: the director revisits The Three Musketeers, based on the principle that the trio is in fact a trio of women disguised as men: Daphné Latakia, Sabrina Ouazani and Déborah Lukumuena. They are joined by a young woman, played by Oulaya Amamra, who will become a musketeer like them. On the program, everything that makes up the life of musketeers: fights, rides, Richelieu's plot and the Queen of France in danger. And, of course, a discourse on gender categories and injunctions provoked by the gender-swap heroes of Dumas.
