Josh Brolin threatens to quit the cinema

A funny way to put pressure on the Oscars…

The memories of Josh Brolin have just been published and contain some disconcerting comments. For example, he assures that he will stop his profession, if the 2025 Oscars decide to snub the director of Dune 2, Denis Villeneuve.

The film received widespread praise from audiences and critics, with most praising Villeneuve for his vision. So for the Thanos of Avengersbalance: “He is a master filmmaker. If it doesn't get nominated for an Oscar this year, I'll stop acting!” he writes in “From Under the Truck.”

For Josh Brolin, Dune 2 was even “a better film than the first. When I watched it, it felt like my brain was cracked open. It's masterful, and Denis is one of our master filmmakers. If the Oscars mean anything, they'll recognize it“.

Let us remember that Denis Villeneuve had not been nominated for the first Dune. His only nomination dates back to Premier Contact in 2017.
