Avonworth won the WPIAL Class 3A championship, defeating Central Valley 17-0 on Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.It is the third WPIAL title in school history for the Antelopes (11-3) and their second under head coach Duke Johncour.The Warriors (7-6) were looking for their first title win since Central Valley’s championship three-peat from 2019 to 2021.
