Samuel L. Jackson to join new JJ Abrams film

The casting of this secret project is increasingly impressive.

Nick Fury in the world of Abramsthis seems obvious. The actor Samuel L. Jackson is in negotiations to star in the director's next film Abrams. This is the first time that the Marvel star will work with the filmmaker, who is making his return to cinema, five years later Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).

Production seems to be accelerating since Emma Mackeythe star of Sex Educationwas announced yesterday in the leading female role, opposite Glen Powell (Twisters). Jenna Ortega and therefore Samuel L. Jackson will make up the rest of this impressive cast.

Abrams is currently writing this untitled feature film, the details of which are being kept secret. No theatrical release date yet.
