A popular pizza restaurant in Oakland was cited by the Allegheny County Health Department for over a dozen health code violations. Pizza Romano, located at 219 Atwood St. in Oakland, was cited by the department Thursday. The restaurant was found to have “the presence of rodent droppings, malfunctioning refrigeration equipment, improper employee personal hygiene around food and food-contact-surfaces, soiled food-contact-surfaces and equipment,” and more.
