Andor season 2 finally has a release date on Disney Plus

The 12 episodes will be posted online in the spring.

Three years of waiting. But fans of Star Wars will finally be rewarded for their patience in spring 2025.

The series Andorwhich describes the events leading to Rogue One (2016) announces its season 2 for April 22, 2025.

During an event held this weekend in Brazil, Disney revealed the release date. The series is still signed Tony Gilroyand will follow the continuation of the adventures of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), as he joins the fight against the Galactic Empire in the Rebel Alliance which begins to form.

The second season will be 12 episodes long and will take place over four years divided into three-episode modules. Each module covering a few consecutive days of each successive year before the events of Rogue One.

We know that Ben Mendelsohn will return in the role of Orson Krennic, officer of the Galactic Empire and engineer of the Death Star. Likewise, Forest Whitaker will return to play the rebel leader and emblematic member of the fight against the Galactic Empire, Saw Gerrera. Like Cassian, he actively participated in the Battle of Yavin. During season 1 of Andor, he briefly appeared during episodes 8 and 11.

Remember that this season 2 ofAndor will be the last.
